A draw Nigel 3 - 3, cracking game end to end both good footballing sides and every ball competed for, I hopefully managed to keep the game flowing, plus good hospitality from St Stephen and good food laid on at the Queens Head. I also have to add a terrific advert for Duchy League football.

St Stephen will be wishing they played as well on friday night as they did yesterday,St Stephen had four players missing which three of started on friday but battled for every ball & gave the champions elect a real test.St Stephen went behind against the run of play & then let in a second still against the run of play but dug deep & got themselves into a 3-2 lead only to let in a soft goal at the very death,just goes to show you make mistakes against the best side in duchy football you get punished & three points become one .

Impossible pitch/surface to play flowing football on which hindered st minver and favoured st Stephens direct style. All three of their goals coming from set pieces, the 3rd a penalty which from my angle looked to be a good yard outside the box!

A great game between St Stephen and St Minver as always and Jason's lads really battled for him coming back from 2-0 down to 3-2 up with 5 minutes to go.  Credit to our lads for never knowing when they are beaten and grabbing an equaliser in the dying minutes.

Please find match report here and thanks to John for his always excellent video clips to bring alive the match report and to Jason and the team for their warm hospitality during and after the game.  Always a pleasure :-)

I guess that depends on how many 1st teamers st Dennis put out, Lee ricks must be the 2nd teams top scorer ?

He's 1st teams top scorer but trailing jordi for us,tis handy having a player like Lee available tho mate bit like Paul menenhic knows where the goal is......

funny when our 1st team win no one on the swpl site comments that st Dennis have a duchy player or 2 helping the team out?works both ways frosty,handy having 3 teams in one village!
