Truro City lost 3-1 at Tiverton this evening!

Still over 3 weeks to go, let's hope we peak at the right time, On paper

City had a strong team out tonight so the result has to be disappointing.

I wouldn't take much notice of the Tivvy result. City will do ok; I'm certain of it. They may do ok next season also if they get the opportunity but I don't see anything after that.

It is not surprising that the Truro fans have not made any comment about the match against Falmouth, I was on Holiday when it was played,

but I was told that the Truro fans were shouting Falmouth Amatuers,

but at the end of the game were silent, excuses were made that Truro did not have a full squad playing,

Looking at the line up of both teams & reserves it looked very much to me that Truro had all of their so called top players playing at some time & even when Falmouth substituted the two players who got two of their the goals Truro still could not beat them,

I accept that friendlies are not a true reflection of the full potential of a team, I would wager a bet that the Truro fans thought that it was going to be easy for them,

So for once Truro fans admit that you were beaten by a better team on the day, also a team 5 Leagues below you
