morcs Posted October 17, 2009 Report Share Posted October 17, 2009 Duchy Division One Tywardreath RBL 2 - 3 Boscastle Bad day at the office for RBL who were shocking in the first half, slightly better in the second but really poor showing by are standards, not helped by an appalling referee who got so many decisions wrong! Need to realise that we cant just turn up and win games, Boscastle battled hard all day long and were great in closing us down and they managed to hold on against are final onslaught for the last 20 minutes or so. Three individual errors for the goals (One being a soft own goal by Kev morcom), so one to forget and move on! Scorers for RBL:- Jimmy Penhall (Debut goal as sub), Ryan Morcom. Grampound had what looked like a good goal disallowed and missed an absolute sitter in the first half. Godolphin dominated possession in the second half without making a really clear chance. Left Peg Posted October 17, 2009 Report Share Posted October 17, 2009 Altarnun 2 - 1 Week St Mary We lost in a close competitive game today perhaps deserved a draw but to be honest Alts had some good chances and could have put us out of it first half. The ref today was the best we have had in Duchy football, absolutely superb. Reffed with common sense and on a level with the players. The listed ref on Duchy site was Dave Grant so presume nothing changed, stocky guy with glasses, he was clearly a former player and knew the game and what goes on.
