SWPL 22/12/12 Postponements
The Python replied to bushy12's topic in Kitchen Kit Peninsula League Forum
Helston offered to host this fixture at Helston (weather permitting) but Porthleven declined the offer for some reason, they should be made to play the game as we all want games to be played if possible. -
Porthleven Vs Helston - Boxing Day
The Python replied to YoungPercy's topic in Kitchen Kit Peninsula League Forum
Surely it should be upto the manager and not Vidal who is the secretary, and also Porthleven stand to lose a great deal of gate takings on what would be the return fixture on good Friday last seasons fixture on the same day brought in near on 3 hundred supporters into Gala Parc, the chances are this game will now be a evening game with a lot less revenue for Porthleven football club, I hope who ever made this decision has a genuine reason because if not I think players from both teams will be gutted. -
Is the Penzance v Helston game on tonight? if so can someone confirm what time k/o is Thanks

The Python replied to Dave Deacon's topic in Kitchen Kit Peninsula League Forum
Very funny Rgk19!! Best giggle I've had all day but no thanks! It's hard enough doing the other jobs at a club without being Manager. So that's a no thanks from me and Graham Medlin too!! Steve Kimberley Falmouth Town AFC Steve was spotted at Helston football club on Saturday he decided not to join in with the lads doing press ups and doing silly things but being local to the football club could he be thinking of joining the blues after his famous Chelsea.(just thought I'd start a rumour becuase its what people do on here) we all love you Steve and good luck to Falmouth. -
Helston v AFC St Austell Saturday 20/10/12
The Python replied to margo's topic in Kitchen Kit Peninsula League Forum
I think Eddy and Goldsworthy are proving a handful for most this season. Pace! Whilst I disagree with you Dave ! Eddy has the pace and Goldsworthy is more of in the correct position/finisher sort of player, you also forgot the pace of Dan Stidwell who was playing just behind the two front men and was creating chances for the lads up front, plus the two attacking full backs who spent most of the game playing in the St Austell half making there wide men defend, also the three midfielders who worked tireless like they do most weekends, the centre backs one of which has only played there a couple of times this season looked comfortable and as for Jason Robertson in goal he has to be the best in the west division and up with the best in the premier, the lads coming of the bench also made huge contributions(Millers goal what a cracker) towards a team that has picked themselves up from two poor games against Hayle and Godolphin. So Dave I'm sure the manager of the team would say the whole team would be a handfull to most teams this season as Penzance will find out in the next round I hope, well done lads... -

Right Can someone from Helston tell me the name of the person who ran on from the bench with a red card and sent Bullock off and yes you do sound very bitter. You caught Helston on a bad day mate and managed a draw. instead of blaming everyone else why not blame Bullock for getting sent off and letting the team down. Helston had a player sent off on Saturday have they blamed the ref on this forum. -

Two red cards in 4 games for Hayle, could be an expensive season and i'm sure the ref is going to get the blame for all the other red cards you get. -

The Python replied to gala7's topic in Kitchen Kit Peninsula League Forum
I think you will find that the assistant manager Daryll Hunter is running with the team and because of the short notice of John's departure Cosy has been asked to help out today.Good luck today lads. -

The Python replied to a topic in Kitchen Kit Peninsula League Forum
Rumour has it Wendron could be looking for a new manager, but that is only a rumour -
Am I right in saying that a certain airline that uses Newquay airport also sponsors Newquay Football club, and the gentleman who started this thread happens to be involved with that club ( I can see why you would try and convince us Cornish people that the airport is still an attractive project). My question to him is if your figures are correct why is CC still pumping money into this project and not the buisness's that are making money out of the airport?
-
Well he won't be off to Helston then, as I know they don't pay,

THANKS FOR BRINING THIS TO OUR ATTENTION This was bought to my attention by Nemesis on a different thread he was harping on about Truro again and normal people I would like to class myself as one of the normal people in this county,my question would be is it normal for one club to have all these finals should'nt they be spread around the other normal clubs. As quoted by Nemesis himself: (Newquay AFC have staged the SWPL Cup Final last season, the CCFA Cornwall Junior & Senior Cup Finals this season amongst various other 'grass roots' finals) IS THIS FAIR?:
