cornishteddyboy
On another thread it asks who the most improved combo team is this season. Everyone can say this team or that but can they prove it. Below is the scientific way! After the name of the team is 3 sets of figures. The first is the average points per game gained SO FAR by that team this season, the second number the average points gained per game last season. The third set of numbers is after you've taken this year from last to give you a plus or minus figure. If a plus figure your team has improved, if a negative figure your team has GOT WORSE I have excluded points awarded or points deducted for rule infringements as this table relies on games played and points earned not rule breaking in the caculations. I could not include Portreath as the are newly promoted but for your information they are averaging 1.095 points per game. THE LIST IS ARRANGED WITH MOST IMPROVED AT THE TOP. 1.PERRANPORTH 2.662 - 1.237 = 1.429 2.PENZANCE 1.464 - 0.474 = 0.990 3.ILLOGAN 2.476 - 1.711 = 0.765 4.MULLION 1.192 - 0.658 = 0.613 5.WENDRON 0.826 - 0.500 = 0.326 6.ST JUST 1.522 - 1.263 = 0.259 7.CULDROSE 1.200 - 0.974 = 0.226 8.PERRANWELL 2.500 - 2.289 = 0.211 9.ST DAY 1.091 - 0.947 = 0.144 10.ST IVES 1.524 - 1.605 = -0.081 11.FALMOUTH 1.409 - 1.553 = -0.144 12.ST AGNES 1.364 - 1.632 = -0.268 13.NEWQUAY 1.400 - 1.684 = -0.284 14.PORTHLEVEN 1.524 - 1.842 = -0.318 15.HAYLE 0.720 - 1.158 = -0.438 16.PENRYN 1.136 - 1.632 = -0.496 17.HELSTON 1.769 - 2.289 = -0.520 18.LUDGVAN 0.048 - 0.579 = -0.531 19.HOLMAN 1.280 - 1.947 = -0.667 So the top nine teams have improved their points average whilst the bottom ten have got worse. Things will change before the season ends but if you look at the average points gained per game so far this season and if things stayed the same and teams keep going as they are now the final table might look like this:- PERRANPORTH 101 points PERRANWELL 95 ILLOGAN 94 HELSTON 67 ST IVES 58 ST JUST 58 PORTHLEVEN 58 PENZANCE 56 FALMOUTH 54 NEWQUAY 53 ST AGNES 52 HOLMAN 49 CULDROSE 46 MULLION 45 PENRYN 43 PORTREATH 42 ST DAY 41 WENDRON 31 HAYLE 27 LUDGVAN

isaac rosenberg
I think you're missing one team from the top list....20 in the league ?

If you read the post properly Isaac, then it says Portreath have only been in the league this season, so cannot compare to last season... ^_^
