The Gooner
As the Liskeard first team have lost most of last years players where are their replacements coming from? Will they look locally or will they go across the bridge? Who has been signed to date? The second team will as usual be made up of local lads no doubt. John The Baptist
Heard Coops is struggling to get the players to go there.
The Gooner
Since my last posting I have been told that most of the players that he has attracted are from Plymouth. If they are finding it hard to attract players maybe the will use some of the local 2nd team lads like they did last year. If that is the case then they will be in for a hard season? Soccer Follower
If they are struggling for players, they could always look at the club next village down the A38.

Dave Deacon
Or perhaps Moorswater! They use to have a very successful side in the old Liskeard & District League ..... so I'm told of course!!! :D
Guest SPECTATOR
No Martin, surely Gooner means Sporty Tots in Moorswater, because he's just stated that the local lads aren't good enough!
Martin McHugh
It will be interesting to see how the local boys play together this week. Pitch is looking good, training went well in Mexico and I am sure the boys are looking forward to the season. Good luck to them, I hope they stay together for a few seasons.
