Wendron reserves 0 Pendeen 4

Pendeen played some lovely football, especially first half and dominated from the start. Early breakthrough from Alex Ralph running clear through and finishing under the keeper from just inside the box after 12 minutes. Five minutes later a free kick on the edge of the box was parried by the Wendron keeper and turned in by Davy Howard. Pendeen hit the bar a couple of times before increasing their lead ten minutes before half time from the penalty spot courtesy of Alex Ralph.

Second half a change of formation from Wendron caused Pendeen problems and with increased possession they also hit the bar.

A good end to end half was finally settled 15 minutes from time with a close range finish from Pendeens Isaac Jay.

MOUSEHOLE  0-0  PERRANWELL

ATT 80

Beautiful day, Trungle looking stunning in the sun. What a job done by all at Mousehole. Great club, lovely people 👏🏼👍️ The hosts playing some fast free flowing football on the deck at pace but most of it in front of a well drilled organised visiting midfield and defence.
Game opened up slightly more in the 2nd half and the Seagulls for once carved the defence open to hit a post and then The Well going up the field to almost nick it when a great volley from Danhi Harvey was brilliantly tipped around the post by Dom Angove. With injury time upon us there was still time for a great low header to be saved equally as well by the visitors keeper Phil Rees who dived full stretch to tip around his left hand post.
Not one of those rubbish 0-0s you often see, plenty of decent football, very well reffed and what looked like no injuries picked up by Mousehole before their County Intermediate cup final next Sunday before the Senior Cup final at Wendron. The Well picking up 11 points from a possible 15 in a 5 game unbeaten run.  Decent match 👏🏼👍

Illogan RBL 1, Hayle 5

Bit of a blow for Illogan, chasing runners-up spot before today! Bit of revenge for the reverse fixture earlier in the season, too! Hayle were 3-0 up at half time (23,29,32) kicking down the slope, then it was a case of "next goal's vital" in the 2nd half and it went to Halle on 50 minutes. The 5th was a bit hard on Illogan, following a great save by Wyatt only for the ball to fall kindly for Halle. I know it is a much used phrase, "consolation", but I don't think it really applies to Illogan's goal on 85, met with ironic cheers, because there was no consolation to be had for having their runners-up dream shattered!

Teas and coffees £1 (the sign said "everything for £1") but I don't think Dean Court was successful in his offer of £1 for the tea hut! Better value than the £1.50 I was charged at Falmouth's nice new tea hut a couple of weeks ago, though. Still, clubs have to make their money.

Last visit for Mona, apparently: he's going "home"to Kent to moan about things there! Good luck to him. He never liked it in Cornwall.
