  • Dave Deacon changed the title to RESULTS - Saturday 9 December 2023

Must now be a concerning slump for Mousehole. Only 1 win in the last 9 matches, and 7 defeats in that spell.

Losing 4-1 against a team that went down to 10 men after 31 mins gives Jake Ash and co plenty to think about.

Still, looking at the table, only 7 pts below the play offs (which says a lot about the even nature of the league) so much to play for this season.

Wonder if more players are incoming to rejuvenate the squad? Notice that Liskeard's Harry Bell was in the starting line up yesterday.

We beat Bishops Cleeve 3-1 the other week but they looked a very good side. Don’t think there’s any disgrace in losing to them.

The next few fixtures for Mousehole look winnable. Bemerton Heath, Westbury and Exmouth. I suspect the table will look a lot better for them by the time they host us on NYD.

Not so sure about Bemerton, but I would agree Westbury and Exmouth are both games that we need to win if we're to finish in the top half.
