On the bright side, more of a chance that Parkway v Sholing will get played on Tuesday evening.

Match off, pitch waterlogged.

Fixture pile up starting to look pretty serious now.

By my reckoning, Parkway have 13 home matches left and Truro City 11. That's 24 matches at Bolitho (could be more if Parkway win in the Trophy on Saturday and get drawn at home) in the final 13 weeks of the season. Really can't afford more postponements but, considering it's only January, and they are having problems with the pitch, then they are probably inevitable.

Southern League has to be completed by Saturday 23rd April as the play offs are due to start on Weds 27th April.

It is a big issue and with no alternative ground  to play the fixtures you have to wonder how they are are getting played and who has first refusals on midweek dates. ( would imagine parkway won’t want anything that clashes with argyle!) .
a few Friday night games would be pretty lucrative for either club. .
24 matches in the space of few months is going to destroy that pitch unless we get a good dry spell.  .
I believe there no fixture at all on the pitch this weekend so that might help with the pitch maintenance at least.

After watching the interview with the Plymouth Parkway chairman on their YouTube channel, it appears Parkway would have their midweek games on a Tuesday, with Truro on a Wednesday. This is something that has to be handed in to the league at the start of the season. Really, the pitch needs the season to finish ASAP. It would then give it plenty of time over the summer months to fully recover.
