Ian Pethick
Parkway put themselves into Monday's draw for the next round of the FA Cup after registering their first win of the season in a keenly contested tie at Trungle Parc. Despite the initial shock of falling behind in the opening stages of the game to a Hayden Turner goal, they quickly equalised through Tom Bath and ensured half time supremacy through a further effort by Matt Andrew. River Allen put the game beyond doubt with a late penalty.A much changed Parkway side from the midweek draw with Frome due to injury and availability ,held firm against second half Mousehole pressure. Debutant goalkeeper Tyler Combes and new signing Reece Shanley at full back in particular having impressive games with Jack Crago and Bath both having further opportunities to increase the lead. First win of the season against for Lee Hobbs' side, and a clear week to regroup before next Saturday's trip to Mangotsfield. sportsman10
Is Reece Shanley signed on full time now or just helping out ? Will imagine he have his work cut out forcing himself in the starting line up infront of lane or Davies
