Boscastle 5 - 2 Dobwalls

Straight from the kick off Boscastle grabbed two goals in two minutes to stun Dobwalls and the modest, weather affected, crowd.

Dobwalls kept their heads and got back into the game and probably had the better of the first half play, levelling matters in the closing ten minutes.

After the break Dobwalls did most of the attacking but Boscastle's defence was sound and their clinical finishing, aided by some careless Dobwalls defending, saw them to a convincing winning scoreline.

A well organised final, good match day programme from Kevin Hoare, tightly contested but played in the right spirit.

A really enjoyable match despite the weather, it looked like it was going to be one-way traffic after 2 and a half minutes when Boscastle had already gone 2-0 up but a quickfire double of their own just before the break saw Dobwalls make it level at the break. Paul's description of the second half above was spot on and Boscastle collected the cup. Their number ten who grabbed a hat-trick including both those two early goals was the best player out there, and put in a lot of work too.
