A winger who played for Plymouth Argyle-Birmingham City and Portsmouth (1946-1960) making 311 League appearances scoring 91 goals. The Cornish connection is that he was manager of Truro City 1972-73 and his son Tommy played for Falmouth Town in the Western League season 1977-78 (36 apps 11 goals) moving on to Saltash the following season.
