Wendron 1-0 Penryn. We ended up pleased to get three points today, Terry set his young, apart from Pottsy, side out to defend and they made a decent job of it, defending in numbers and working very hard off the ball. We made hard work of things and our passing and final ball was too often poor. Some very good young players on show today, we will need to improve in our semi final next weekend If we are going to progress in the cup!

Though we played well today, we set out to be hard to beat..and to try and catch you on the counter. Thought that we held our own and was really starting to push for an equaliser in the last 15 mins. But fair play to wendron for holding out for the points.

Tale of two halves( love a football cliché) Hayle took the lead just before the break with a scrambled goal from Billy after a great run from the back from young Joe .Hayle dominated possession in the first half with Kane in centre mid putting in a great shift .the defence stood strong and kept Perran at bay .second half not sure what Casey said to Perranwell at the break but they started strongly and were rewarded with the equaliser .not sure what they put in the water down well but there was a lot of tall guys ..Kevin Knowles was excellent in the middle .no cards talked to players and let the game flow .he let the players get on with the game which both teams appreciated.. Draw a far result and Perran could of snatched the win as they had a shot which came back of the bar

Enjoyed yesterdays game down at ludgvan where both teams played some good football.. Ludgvan started off very well, with joe day scoring a header back post from a good cross!! Ludgvan kept applying pressure to which was when I passed the ball to the top goal scorer in the league to which gerrans slotted the ball into the back of the net!! Redruth had a couple of chances to score but wasn't clinical enough In front of goal. 5 mins into the second half gerrans came through into the area where Scott Thomas chopped him in half which resulted in a penalty! Jack Ramsay struck it well into the side netting!! With about 15/20 minut s to go back Redruth bought on Sam Bradley and Ben hocking who livened things up abit. Which was when Ben hocking swung his left foot and slotted the ball into the bottom right hand corner!! Pitch was great and was well ref d by George Patterson.
