Given all the off-field trouble, this is a fantastic result for Truro. Les Afful opened the scoring and Truro should have been 3 up by HT. As it was, it was 1-0. Tonbridge then attacked and attacked in the 2nd half, helped by some curious decisions by the referee. With virtually the last kick of the game, Dan Smith charged down the left flank and squared a beautiful ball for Ed Palmer to score his first for Truro and secure 3 points and a clean sheet. Well done Truro!

After the game it was confirmed Danny Clay and Andy Taylor were leaving Truro.

It was a great game to watch. End to end with both sides going for it from the very beginning of the match.

Truro's first clean sheet since the third game of the season on August 20th. It looked as if every single player upped his game. Man of the match was Stewart Yetton, a reward for his effort, but it was difficult to single one player out. Tim Sandercombe saved the day a couple of times as well.

The news came out before the game that there had been a deal agreed with the players over their unpaid wages, however Andy Taylor and Danny Clay would be leaving. Clay I understand is off to Tiverton Town.
