MattP
Duchy 2 Bere Alston 1 Polperro 3 Comprehensive win for the visitors with goals from Paul Webber, Marcus Wills and a superb 25 clincher from James Morris. Polperro's man of the match, goalkeeper Barrie Collings, rolling back the years with a superb display.

(sometimes it goes wrong). also in the days when alot of people are moaning about refs i thought he had a good game. only incorrect decision was not to send your fella off for kicking our man through on goal. good luck to you folks too
Guest PUAFC Gaffer
Div 5 St Mawgan Res 0 v 2 Padstow United Padstow went to this game with a string of injuries and players missing through work committments. The greens went 1-0 up in 2 minutes, with a barage of shots at goal with the Mawgan defenders and keeper throwing themselves everywhere to stop it going in, but it finally fell to Dave Trestain to despach. St Mawgan replied from the restart with a move that ended with a cracking shot that rattled the cross bar. Pastow failed to play their usual passing game, but managed to look like scoring again, but couldn't convert. 15 corners in the first half with no result,- 6 on the trot. In the second half Padstow were first out of the blocks with a good passing move ending with a Johnny Murt convertion. The greens missed 5 or 6 chamces in the half including 2 on the line. Both teams battled to score, with both teams missing chances. Not the prettiest game to watch but 3 points secured.
