boscastle 5-3 grampound . boscastle dominated this game but slacked off a little to allow grampound back in it could have and should have been all over by half time

slightly in-just report. boscastle strong out the blocks and scored 3 quick goals. grampound had the rest of the game and looked like scoring on every attack.

well played boscastle but a much improved performance from grampound.

ok might have been a little harsh on dominated but to be fair we went 3 up quickly and could have been a lot more if we hadn't sat back thinking our job for the day was done and we did the same after the break when we went 5-1 up also ref gave you a very soft pen and you really didn't look like scoring everytime you came forward thought you number 10 had a great game but also thought that your no5 and no7 put in two shocking tackles on our to lads in 1st and 2nd halfs respectfully !! and you were a little unlucky that centerhalf wasn't given his marching orders cos he was last man but didn't think it was on that all your supporters and half the team was telling the ref to send the lad off !!! but well battled your team never gave up and good luck for rest of the season

i agree with the tackles statement, they weren't great at all. it was a good competitive game and it was good to see everyone shake hands at the end. to be fair to us their might have been a couple of over zealous challenges but the only way you get yourself out of a relegation battle is with some grit and determination. (sometimes it goes wrong). also in the days when alot of people are moaning about refs i thought he had a good game. only incorrect decision was not to send your fella off for kicking our man through on goal.

good luck to you folks too

Div 5

St Mawgan Res 0 v 2 Padstow United

Padstow went to this game with a string of injuries and players missing through work committments.

The greens went 1-0 up in 2 minutes, with a barage of shots at goal with the Mawgan defenders and keeper throwing themselves everywhere to stop it going in, but it finally fell to Dave Trestain to despach. St Mawgan replied from the restart with a move that ended with a cracking shot that rattled the cross bar. Pastow failed to play their usual passing game, but managed to look like scoring again, but couldn't convert. 15 corners in the first half with no result,- 6 on the trot.

In the second half Padstow were first out of the blocks with a good passing move ending with a Johnny Murt convertion. The greens missed 5 or 6 chamces in the half including 2 on the line. Both teams battled to score, with both teams missing chances. Not the prettiest game to watch but 3 points secured.
