Newquay win 1 - 0 at Mousehole thanks to a Scott Palmer penalty early in the game. The decision was a no-brainer for the ref as Scotty was impeded by the keeper as he went to go round him.

Very long grass and a strong wind put paid to any real fluency in the game but there were half chances at both ends, but a combination of some decent saves, dogged defending and finishing that wasnt fully up to scratch meant the game was never going to keep up with the 9 goal a game average of the last few Newquay games.

Ryan Barnes made a very good save towards the end diving low to his right to push an effort round the post, especially as it appeared as if he was unsighted initially.

Guest Uncle Albert

Liskeard 2 Bovey Tracey 3.

Shocked by how poor Liskeard were. Have gone downhill big time since I last saw them in the early part of the season at Wadebridge.

Maybe the conditions will be blamed. It was an horrendous wind blowing straight down the ground, which made decent football almost impossible.

There was a minute's silence before the game for Jimmy Cook, father of Martin Cook I understand. Jimmy made more than 250 appearances for the Blues. Condolences to Martin and family.

Plymstock 2 - 4 Perranporth

well done to Perranporth for being the first team to beat Plymstock this season in the league, strange game this one, Plymstock went 1 nil up after 5mins through a Ash Piggott strike, Perranporth then should of been down a man after a foul on Joe Jasper, who was clean through and just about to shoot and was taken out by the Perranporth defender, should of been a red card, ref gives yellow card(Shocking) Ash Piggott then gets sent off for handball. Ian Gosling then scores from the pen spot. 1-1 halftime.

2nd Half, Plymstock take the lead on 70mins after a good strike from Dan Murdoch, Perranporth then score 3 late goals to win 4-2. ref was shocking today and ruined a game that would of been a good game against two of the best sides in the west div..

draw would of been a fair result but good luck to perranporth..

played in the camelford wadebridge game but went off injured after 10 mins!! early on typical local derby, tackles everywhere, cant really speak for next 50, then last half hour camels had better off play, wadebridge looked dangerous from set pieces but camelford were the team pressing, i couldnt say wat a fair result was as i missed so much but great result from are boys, absolutely thrilled for us!!

Thats a bad result for wadebridge losing to their local rivals from a lower league as well. anyone watch the game?

Watched the whole game today. Close fought game throughout. Disappointment for Camelford to lose their skipper so early in the match through injury and the score was 1 - 1 at half time. Camelford took the lead through a fabulous strike from Stuart Parkin in the second half and although Wadebridge looked dangerous on the break, Camelford's defence of Alex Young, Martin Haynes and Adam Sleep were dominant.

An excellent result for the Camels in front of a large crowd!
