It finished Bodmin Town 3 (Colin Marshall, Ben Smallridge, Chris Luxton), Witheridge 2 (Matt Dawson) at Priory Park.

Guest The Judge aka RED OR DEAD

Chrissy Luxton again with the winning goal, should have put him on a contract and got a transfer fee. Well done Chrissy, keep up the good work.

Contrary to what the report on this is Cornwall says.

Bodmin did not dominate the first half both sides had their chances and the action was end to end.

Fantasticly worked first goal by Bodmin finished well by Colin Marshall who also started the move. Bodmin did have a couple of other chances in the first half but Withy also went close through Simon Bochenski and Richard Lamacraft. Bodmin's second goal was offside however the linesman failed to see it as he couldnt keep up with the pace the game was played at. After the second goal Withy were rattled and Bodmin should of made it three but didn't and Withy got back in the game with two goals in five minutes through Matt Dawson (1 pen). NOT MATT DAWSON AND JAMES TURNER AS THIS IS CORNWALL SAY. Bodmin's third came from a big kick up field by Kevin Miller and the young lad did well to race through and chip the ball past Withy keeper Chris Wright. Withy went close again to equalising when Simon Bochenski's curling shot went just wide of Miller's right hand post. No complaints about Bodmin being awarded a penalty player was definately pulled to the ground but Chris Wright saved well from Mark Berry.

Entertaining game to watch with Witheridge who played their part to make it entertaining deserved a draw.

Difference between the sides was Big Kev Miller, what a presence this man has. He doesnt stop talking and encouraging his team for the whole 90 minutes and any team would love to have the big man between their posts but jesus he is forever moaning to the ref and lino.

Your observations are obviously biased, North Devon Dweller, and why not? Football is all about opinions and supporters from different teams see games different ways.

I was certainly very impressed by Witheridge as an attacking force; they were very confident. Not so impressed by their defence and that offside trap, which cost two goals. If Chris Luxton had been on any sort of form in front of goal, he would have scored four goals and the game would have been won far earlier than it was.

Bodmin were by no means at their best, but Witheridge should take credit for that. Few teams have gone to Priory Park and played so positively. Keep up the good work.

North Devon Dweller, I presume you're a Witheridge supporter. But I'm not a Bodmin supporter - I was observing the game as a neutral, and my opinion was that if Luxton had been on form, he would have scored those three sitters that he put wide, and Bodmin would have won at a canter.

As I said, the game is all about opinions. Please don't go throwing accusations my way about double standards.
