Dave Deacon Posted August 29, 2009 Report Share Posted August 29, 2009 Watched the Launceston v Bude match this evening and what a cracking contest. End to end and not quite sure how there were only two goals! One of the best I've seen this season so far. Bude certainly deserved to share the spoils, even if they left it late to equalise. Far better in the second-half when they switched the winger - Boxy was it? Referee had an interesting style as well - no one ever knew which way he was giving a free-kick until he arrived at the place of the offence and then told the surrounding players! :clapper: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Thought your No.10 and the fella that scored the pen were your two best players on the day and Jamal is always a handful upfront....Your keeper made some good saves as well. We couldn't handle the slope and your GK's long balls in the first half and our passing was awful. We picked up a bit in the 2nd half and finished the game strongly, but were way down on how well we played at Liskeard in midweek. Yeah we had three of our usuals missing who would normally start, and our centre back having to go off was a bit of a blow!
