I have been asked by the family of Charles Matthews to post the following statement: I would like to thank all of you who have posted comments regarding the sad passing of my father Charlie. Your comments have been kind and generous. He was a fantastic man who gave his all in everything he did. St.Buryan F.C. will never be the same but, will of course pull together to get through this difficult time. Thank you again for all of your kind words. Stuart Matthews and Family. Congratulations to Halsetown on a hell of a fightback,we were bitterly dissapointed to throw away a 4-2 lead with 15 mins left but a bit of a soft penalty gave you a boost then 2 cracking finishes gave you the game.Loads of chances at both ends some great saves from Dusty,felt Buryan also had a good penalty shout when Anthony Roberts was bought down but nothing given.In the end you deserved your victory best of luck on Sunday

ST BURYAN 2 - 0 STORM MATCH ABAN 43 MINS Gutted this game couldn't be completed,Buryan dominated and created numerous chances taking the lead after 10 mins Gavin Edwards finishing.Mark George increased the lead capitalising on a defensive mix up after 20 mins.The rain kept falling and was torrential for at least 20 mins,the ref finally calling a halt to the fun 2 mns before half time.Despite our efforts for him to have another look after the break it wasn't to be and we will have to do it all again next week !
