  1. Division 1. Constantine 1-3 Mawnan Reserves An 1100 KO thanks to Dave Bartlam agreeing to an early start (and then doing an afternoon game too), and Constantine and us keen to get the game on. Constantine took an early lead with a great free-kick, but Mawnan scored 3 1st half goals and saw out the second half. Freed up the afternoon to watch the 1st team beat Falmouth Town Thirds 7-0 in the Percy Stephens Cup.
  2. Division 1. Newlyn NA 0-5 Mawnan Reserves A closer game than the scoreline suggests.. Newlyn started the better, and had a couple of free kicks which tested our keeper. We worked our way into the game and took a 2-0 lead at half time despite an injury to our keeper.. The second half was tight again until we scored our 3rd. After this the game went a bit nuts with Newlyn throwing numbers forward and hitting the woodwork 3-4 times but Mawnan scoring twice on the break. Once again good food afterwards which is always appreciated.
  3. Always good to have a posh title 😀😀
  4. Not exactly. We have a great committee who share out many of the day to day activities. However, with the implementation of the online registration etc it would be great to get someone on board with the necessary IT skills to support this.

  6. Division 1 Hayle Reserves 1-2 Mawnan Reserves A very tight game which was still 0-0 at half time. Hayle took the lead early.in the second half, but Mawnan didn't panic and continued to press. 2 goals in the last 20 minutes gave Mawnan the lead and they held despite lots of late pressure from Hayle. Cheers for the food after also.
  7. Newlyn put us to the sword in the second half, and fully deserved their first victory. Many thanks for the food after also.
  8. Division 1 Lanner 5-3 Mawnan Reserves Mawnan led twice but Lanner showed great spirit and ability to come out winners. Thanks for the food after also.
