From what I saw yesterday I think they will get better, they are a young side with a few experienced players and will adapt. The score line doesn’t reflect the first 60 odd minutes as at that point I believe it was only 3-2 and at one point was 2-2. Foxhole are a good side and will probably finish high in the table. Good luck to both teams for the rest of their seasons!

Queens Rangers 5 St Merryn 1 I went to watch this game and from a neutral point of view was glad I did! First half was fairly even with both sides having chances. The first goal came from Queens after they broke the offside trap and the ball unluckily came off a St Merryn player for an OG. Second half saw Queens came out of the blocks fast and within quick succession found themselves 3 up, one of which coming from a 25 yard screamer. Queens then added another to make it 4-0, St Merryn kept pushing and this eventually paid off after a shot rebounded off the bar and was tucked away by a supporting player. Queens with moments to go added a fifth to end the game 5-1. I have to say I have seen Queens and St Merryn play before and St Merryn they didn't play to their full potential but take nothing away from Queens, they played really well and deserved the win. I also wanted to mention the Referee who I thought was great, making sensible decisions, controlling the game well. Good luck to both teams for the rest of their seasons and look forward to next season. Tom

St Stephen 3 Gerrans and St Mawes 3 cracking game to watch for a neutral! St Stephens went ahead with 2 first half goals. Gerrans and st Mawes came our second half like a different team and scored 3 goals in quick succession to flip the game. with both teams pushing for more st Stephens scored to make it 3-3. Both teams played well and a draw was probably a fair result although both teams will feel they should have won. Well refereed as well in a game that both teams battled well on a heavy pitch.

St Newlyn East will be division one champions I think. Every time I see them play they look like a strong, organised team. -

No I think your right, I was surprised when I saw the switch of venue. Let’s just hope for a good game of football! ? -

Bobjfh- I sometimes play 6 a side football up at tretherras and there isn’t any wiring going across anymore. The pitch does have multiple markings but doesn’t every school Astro. spectators will have to stand 1-2 metres from the side of the pitch. The lights aren’t great but will do the job if needed. I’m just pleased that there is some guaranteed (bar some horrendous weather) football tomorrow to watch in the local area. ? well done to both teams for compromising to get the game on!
