Steve Carpenter
At the recent County AGM those present were given an update on the Sin Bin trial. In short, the impact of the Sin Bin trial has been huge nationwide and seen a reduction in dissent on the pilot leagues of 38%. This level of success has resulted in the decision to roll out Sin Bins to all leagues at Step 7 and below from 2019/20 and if this roll out is equally successful then the EFL and Premier League will be looking at how they can introduce it. The County's thanks and appreciation were passed to the Trelawny and Duchy Leagues Committees and clubs for their participation and support of the trial. Dave Bartlam
To the best of my knowledge, the ones that trialled it last year will keep it. The ones that didn’t trial it don’t have to this year, although if at step seven or below, they will have to adopt it next season. A further 60 or league's have taken the scheme on this season
