Grampound 3-3 St Agnes

The visitors dominated for an hour and looked to be heading for all 3 points at 3-0 up (thanks to 3 fantastic strikes) with 30 minutes left to play.
Grampound eventually forced a draw as they battled back with goals from Matt Clements, John Ward and Darren Mortimer and might perhaps have won it with good chances in the last 10 minutes.
Thanks to St Agnes for a good game, as always.

Callington 3-0 Perranporth real tough game as always against Perranporth settled by a couple pens and a great header. Game was played to a very good standard and credit to the league.

Also well done to Par getting a result today this could be the start of something!

Got to agree mate and an easy game to referee

Threemilestone 3 Royal Par 5

A cracking bottom of the table Yo-yo of a game at St Erme Community Centre.

TMS went ahead with a penalty (Jon Allard) after 20 minutes. Royal Par then took the lead with two Mark Place goals. TMS came back with a perfect freekick/header combo (Graeme Ayres) to equalise. Then on the last kick of the half a TMS player (Elliot Jolly)capitalised on a defensive error and thundered a low drive into the net.

3-2 half time.

The second half saw mainly Royal Par attacking with the slope and wind behind them, however it took a long time for the equaliser to come. After a run of four corners and scrambles in the box, Ian Lee finally tucked the ball away to equalise at 3-3.

TMS seemed to set themselves up for counter attack football and caused plenty of problems on the break.

A possibly lucky an unintended Tommy Meehan cross/shot found the top corner to give Royal Par a 3-4 lead.

TMS soon responded and were unlucky when they hit the post and couldn't quit equalise.

Then in the dying moments, Greg Madden found a last ounce of magic in his boots, rounded a player in the box and slotted home from a very tight angle.

It was a good game played with great spirit by both sides. Many thanks to Threemilestone who are brilliant hosts and lovely chaps. Thanks to the referee also who was superb.

Love the fact Rappo got to 2000 goals as quickly as we did to winning again! And for those of us that mock us for being bottom of the table just remember where Leicester City were 2 seasons ago and now look where they are!
