  1. So from reading the above, in summary: - Polperro, nice club, good bunch of lads Elburton, not so nice management or bunch of lads. Nail - head
  2. Relatively comfortable win for Polperro AFC, Elburton Villa seemed more interested on berating the Referee than playing football and come off 2nd best. Polperro running out winners and overall deserved the 3 points across the 90 mins which anyone who watched watched could not of argued with.
  3. Great effort from all the Polperro lads against Dobwalls, took them all the way and it could have gone either way. One could have been forgiven for thinking that Dobwalls had all the play and Polperro were hanging on, but as the spectators saw, Polperro played some sublime football and at times out played their South Western rivals. Ref Steve Nute didn't have the best of days, but I'm not one for ref bashing, we all have our bad days. Good luck to Dobwalls in the remainder of the competition. And it looks like the other non SW side Wendron took Helston all the way as well.
  4. Dobwalls 3-1 Polperro AFC AET Polperro took South Western side Dobwalls all the way in this one. Just didn't quite have the legs come the end of the 120mins.
  5. As the sole ECPL representative: - Durning Lawrence Charity Cup Round 1 Dobwalls v Polperro AFC, Lantoom Park, 2pm Ko. https://www.facebook.com/PolperroAFC
  6. Dobwalls v Polperro As part of the setup at Polperro AFC, we feel extremely privileged to be part of this annual event. The vast majority of the squad are all local lads and have grown up together right from lower echelons of Duchy football through to the ECPL. I know they are all thoroughly looking forward to the test at Lantoom Park. Massive underdogs with nothing to lose, whatever the result it'll be a good day out. If anything, it'll be good experience for when they play Bodmin the Senior Cup
  7. Some great match ups in the link below, An absolute dream tie for the little south coast village of Polperro away to Bodmin Town FC. A great day out for those lads who have worked so hard to get the club to where it is today whatever the result. http://www.cornwallfa.com/cups/2014-2015/cornwall-senior-cup-sponsored-by-west-end-motors-vauxhall/fixtures#round-2
  8. Having had a few beers last night, I understand Looe Town beat Mevagissey 5-1 and not the other way round as the CCFA website indicates. Can anyone point out other results which are incorrect?
  9. Looe Town FC, got the squad, but have they got the temperament?
  10. Think that's harsh ECPL, statistics say otherwise. Argyle had more possession, most shots at goal, most shots on target and forced more corners. Sheridan appeared to be happy with performance but the result was missing.
  11. I think if Plymouth Argyle use the facilities for their youth set up, etc It can't be too bad!
  12. Explain please?? MQx Merely highlighting your vast experience in grooming of young players, there's no chance Liskeard could be short of players ;-)
  13. What was the voting split for the rolling subs?
  14. No offence to Calstock, but the question must be raised whether they should be allowed to continue in Duchy football, their home pitch is unfit to play even at this time of year and their appears to be no foundations at the football club. Be a shame for them, but it's a harsh reality. In addition;- Duchy 1 Polperro 4-3 North Petherwin North Petherwin played the better football, Polperro created the better chances.
