Hayle 0......St Day 3.

Game started well for the Saints, creating chances from the off. 1st goal came from a one-two between Lee Gribble and Perran Cooke and Gribble finishing from a tight angle into the roof of the net after 20 min. The 2nd came around the 30min mark with a quick free kick from Steve Wheatley found Adam Barnicoat to drill home from 18 yards. Chances kept coming for St Day with Hayle offering very little but Shields and Lett working hard for the greens. The 3rd and the nail in the coffin come after 35min with a quick throw in from Nathan Taylor to Perran Cooke who took on 3 players to pull back to Sam Cooper to place past to keeper.

h/t 3-0

Second half Hayle come right at The Saints but still never had a chance to score despite some pressure. There should of been a sending off for a Hayle defender when Perran Cooke was through on goal but was pulled and tripped just outside the box but somehow......only a free kick was given?? Then 2 goals were then disallowed within 15min fro the Saints, one being a shocking offside call and the other goal was given then 3min later was taken off St Day for a confusing free kick for a colision on the keeper.

Three points and 9 out of 9 so far so a massive task to take a 100 % record to Perranporth on Tue.

Beaten by a better side on the day, not a great game but Pz deserved their 3 pts. Very impressed with the lad No4 who played in the middle of the park for Pz, quality all day.

Look forward to next sunday now, Holmans at Oxland.......
