Player registration

Recommended Posts

Hi Mike- I think you will find that The Southern League will have all Truro registrations apart from the County Competitions.

When clubs play in FA competitions F.A.Cup/Vase/Trophy there is no FA registration but the FA accept players are registered with their League and it is with the Leagues they confer with.

I remember a top Falmouth player was not registered with the Old SWL. days before a F.A.Cup tie and wouldn't have been eligible but because he was registerred for Falmouth on Combination forms he was OK to play.

Any disciplinary will be dealt with the County FA of whatever the club is affiliated to-ie Truro players by the CCFA.

Could be wrong but it will be interesting to know likewise.

thefa.com website should answer all The General's questions,

it is the ENGLISH FA who control the rules and regulations for all clubs down to

level 4 in co-operation with the respective league management committees.

This includes discipline etc. the PDF files reveals all.

All clubs are affiliated to their own County FA even Man. Utd have to comply

with their county FA's rulings, usually involving the participation of their support

teams, reserves etc.
