Long Serving Managers

Apparently on BBC Radio 5 Live last week they spoke to someone who has been the manager of the same team for 45 years! Has any manager in Cornwall ever come close to this? :unsure:

Dave Fisher at Perranwell.

Not sure its been 45 years but he must be 1 of the longest serving mangers in Cornish football

I think Dave Fisher has been there since either 1970 or 1977 not sure but longer than I've been alive.

I think the next in line could be Reg Hambly at Camelford

Forgive me for repeating myself and once again sounding like a bit of a party pooper, but although Dave has been with the club for many, many seasons, I think you'll find that Les Gilbert was manager for a season. :blink:

And wasn't Phil Kellow as well? Maybe they were team managers and Dave was general manager or director of football or something fancy like that
