claret&blue
Think St Teath may do well providing Kitbag goes and watches a few of the Vets matches and brings in a couple of their players to strengthen the team !
Woodmanaldo
Perranporth will compete in the Duchy League cup, and will probably be one of the favourites for that Trophy although there are a number of good sides in the cup - St Austell, Bodmin Saints etc. The knockout cup is for the top 32 teams in the Duchy League (worked out on finishing places from the previous season). All the draws for the various cups are on the Duchy League website: www.duchyleague.co.uk :clapper:
johnnie bates
Fancy St Dennis to go close in Knockout and Reserve Team Cup Competitions. Don't forget Premier Sixes or St Austell also Duchy 4 sides. Whatever, it will be great for the League to have so many good sides in all Divisions. Edgcumbe gotta be favourites for the Knockout Cup although Saints have a better Squad than last years winning campaign, gonna be good. Good Luck All

Guest tafc.-gaffa
No need to worry about st. Dennis as we just put it all over them at there place in the league with 10 men. 3 points and cant wait to meet them in the cup! See you in the final edgcumb! johnnie bates
Put it all over them a bit strong, beleive you only had 4 chances at goal all afternoon tafc, although the front 2 of stacey and arnold were more dominant then the Rickard twins for us. Upto the 60 min when we were denied the blatant penalty it was an excellenat game, after that point the referee lost his way a little. We had 2 players deservebly booked for tackles from behind althouth Torpoint never had any from 3 late tackles. You had Gary Arnold sent off with 15 min to go for doing nothing but push a player away. Your keeper kept you in it the first half making 3 good one on one saves from Lee Rickard. All 3 goals were good goals although we must have shaved that with Lee Rickard volley from 25 yards. Overall it was a great advert for Duchy football and good luck to Torpoint for getting a good winner from Matt Williams when down to 10 men. We may have lost this battle but we haven't lost the war yet!!!
Bigdawg
Gary Arnold????who is he??? mat williams was the player who got sent off and Gary metters buried the winner didnt he?? Good result for torpoint - and edgcumbe. we consider st dennis to be main threat for the league as im sure torpoint will drop other points (alturnun anyone) so this is a major boost, especially with mutley gettin sent off who should be banned for a month, with andy carter playing when he doesnt fancy an afternoon on the golf course the next month or so could be a struggle for the point. be interesting to see how st.dennis pick themselves up from this, a very good side so probably with no problem. kitbag
no one seems to fancy looe to much, dont be fooled boys they wont lose many at home,i think all the contenders will stuggle to get anything there.IF the wind is blowing its who can score the most down the slope,we wher 4 0 up ther last year and wher lucky to get a 4 4 draw in the end.Dont know how long it will last but i think we are still top at the moment. As for the ko cup we did manage to beat st stephens borough and gunnislake on the way to the final last, played the final without 3 players who played and stared in the other rounds, they decided to take a holiday ,it wont happen this year. johnnie bates
Sorry didnt know where arnold came from. Sure it was Matt Williams who scored the winner and Metters had a good game with Staceu upfront but metters was sent off.
