Weeman
Hayle VB 3-1 St Agnes Rappo 3 (Sorry dont know Aggie scorrer) Hayle started the game well passing the ball about and keeping possesion and probing the Aggie defence, it wasnt long before Rappo was on the score sheet puting Hayle ahead after mix up in Aggie defence, that was enough to allow Hayle to settle down and just carry on playing good possesion football restricting Aggie to a few half chances not troubling Dennis Fallowfeild in the Hayle goal Rappo added to his goal tally getting another two before halftime the pick being a long low strike from twenty yards the Aggie keeper got down to it but couldnt hold it and it sneeled in, three nil to Hayle and they were cruising at halftime. Hayle came out for the second half whether it was over confidence or Aggie stepped up there game, but Hayle never quite got going again in the second half, Aggie came more into the game and asked questions of the Hayle defence, Aggie pulled one back with a well taken goal forward just dinking the ball over Dennis for a very good finnish, Rappo managed to miss a couple of very good chances to finnish the game off, as it was it ended 3-1 to Hayle who completed a League and cup double for the second season, and a chance to make it a treble with the Cornwall and Devon cup final next month. The game was played in good sporting spirit by both teams and the pitch at Marazion was in great condition, for the game, thanks to Marazion club for putting the game on from all involved.
