Paul Posted February 28 Report Share Posted February 28 Newquay 3v6 St Blazey. Att.64 H.C. St Blazey 2 up in the first half but Newquay level at the break. St Blazey back in front in the second half but Newquay level again soon after. St Blazey scored a good 4th goal to go back in front and two late goals finished Newquay off. Pitch looked in great condition and after the game still looked in great condition despite the recent weather. 👏 St Blazey away to Boscastle on Saturday. Luke Gibbons Posted February 28 Report Share Posted February 28 Torpoint AFC 3rds 3-2 Looe Town Sounds like I was fortunate to miss the first half with both keepers having to entertain themselves. 2nd half wasn't too much better as we struggled to retain the ball. Looe deservedly took a 2 goal advantage with the second being a lovely lobbed finish from Stephenson. Fortunately this woke the side up and through Copp, we finally managed to string a few passes together. Ed Clarke pulling one back before Jack White managed to bring us level on his 2nd (or 3rd) attempt 1v1 with the keeper. Lucky to walk away with the 3 points when Ed grabbed his 2nd of the game with minutes to spare. Hopefully the weather can be kind as unbeaten St Minver are welcomed to The Mill this weekend.
