On a windy day at Halwartha Park saw GSM ran out deserved winner against a spirited Holywell & Cubert side. GSM failed to take advantage of the wind at their backs in the first half, creating and missing numerous  chances. 
Holywell & Cubert came out strong at the start of the second half. Taking every opportunity to shoot on sight with the wind behind without managing to test Caius in the GSM goal. GSM took the lead midway through the half when Angus Joce burst in to the box before drilling the ball low and hard across goal, finding DPD Ben Colquhoun unmarked to guide the ball home. GSM pushed for a second but had to wait until 10 minutes from time when Stu Rowe's cross from the right eluded the keeper and drifted in at the far post.
