Hi all,

As many will know the Sunday Independent is no more - at least until hopefully they get a buyer.

Despite this I will still need reports for the Cornish Times.

So I will need reports from the following:

Fred Binks Premier Division Cup Quarter Final

Polperro v Pensilva

Premier Division

Callington Town v Liskeard Athletic

Plymstock United v St Stephens Borough

St Dominick v Bere Alston United

Division One

Bude Town v Padstow United (Just the score)

Elburton Villa v Mevagissey (Just the score)

Millbrook v Plymouth Parkway

Morwenstow v Wadebridge Town (Just the score)

Nanpean Rovers v Lanreath

Roche v Looe Town

All the others need a report

Many thanks for your help

Callington Town 6-0 Liskeard Athletic

Callington maintained their 100% home league record with what was ultimately a straight forward victory against Liskeard.

The game featured a second half hat trick from Jarryd Kelly.

Callington started on the front foot, and forced several corners, but it was not until just past the half hour that they took the lead from a right wing corner was inadvertently deflected home by a Liskeard player. A few minutes later Ben Langton turned and shot home to put Town two up at half time. Little had been seen of the Liskeard attack in the first half.

Liskeard did fashion a chance early in the second half, home keeper Chris Wearing flicking the ball on to the post, Jarryd Kelly also hit the post for Town soon afterwards, and then scored the first of three goals with a fine right foot shot. Right back Jamie Rowlands finished well with a rare strke to make it four, Kelly scored again, and completed the scoring with a penalty.

Got 20 mins for St Stephens Borough yesterday having spent almost the entire season out injured!

Stockies deserved their win in a very quiet, flat game - neither team has much to play for at this point in the season.

Was good to see Mr Sowden again, there aren't many refs like him!

Enjoyable afternoon in the sun and good food and beer after the game!
