ant.tux
Perranporth 3-5 Holmans Cruisers In the only game to beat the atrocious weekend conditions Holmans Cruisers moved level on points with league leaders St Dennis with an excellent win at Perranporth. Cruisers, who were wearing a spare Perran kit after arriving with the wrong strip, trailed 2-0 at the break. A few stern words from manager Roger Batt at half time saw a resurgent Holmans side pull the score back to 2-2, only for Perran to quickly regain the lead. The visitors though rallied once again to score three more goals to eventually come out 5-3 winners. Nathan Radbone lead the way with a hat trick with Travis Stephens and Richard Love chipping in with Holmans other goals. Credit though must go to the home club, Perranporth, who were able to stage two matches at the weekend (JCCL match v Helston on the Saturday) when most other games in the county were washed out.
