Team Rep
Hope the camels who gave Bodmin a good go turn up tonight ,let's have an upset !!Camelford 1 - 3 AFC St. Austell The camels certainly did give it a good go and deserved their half time 1 - 0 lead through Josh Insley. In front of a good crowd, it was always going to be a tough second half for the camels but they made St. Austell work hard for their win, and certainly don't look like a side that are second from bottom in the league! David Bray
Goalscorers for 'the lillywhites' were Liam Eddy 2 and Chris Slateford.Very generous portion of chips served by Hilary and her committee, and never been to Camelford on such a balmy evening. Gongolan
Enjoyed last nights game although not the result we needed it was the result expected ,camels started reasonably ok with st austell dominating possession and moving the ball around but can't remember Adam in goal being troubled during the first half indeed it was the home team who had the better chances ,one when fullback rushton fired a ball at pace across the 6 yard line and balsdon couldn't quite connect with his header at the far post this was quickly followed by a good shooting chance for ryan tresidder that missed right hand post and then we scored through josh insley agin in the right place for a vital goal,1 0 half time couldn't believe it .Different story second half st austell upping there game and camels going deeper inviting them on it was after about 20 mins that st austell equalised with jordie and ollie now dominating midfield where at times it was camels 442 v 3151 we were overrun. Two more goals followed and we were hanging on ,Liam eddy was on the score sheet twice but I thought sleepy and boldly kept him out for most of the match but his quality showed through in the end which sums up the whole st austell team quality from chapman all the way And to be able to bring on Harry Evans ,great at Falmouth and now again with st austell great support from lily whites 175 or more c u in a fortnight
