Great game at camelford last night in very blustery conditions  the camels had the strong wind with them for the first half and after a good break down the right dan balsdon headed in a cross from paddy Rushton ,the same player than had curling shot that caught the inside of the post ran along the goal line and as the keeper looked on rolled away for a goal kick Half time 1 0 but in the conditions thought that might not be enough and so it proved within 5 mins of restart callington equalised with a cross that should have been cleared but as the ball swirled in the wind it dropped kindly for a tap in. The game started to open up as mistakes being made by both sides and from two of these callington capitalised to go into a 3 1 lead , as the game drew to a close camelford got a consolation goal to bring the scores closer. Must say with a lot of young players from callington were very sharp and quick and if the club can hold onto them the future looks good  Camelfords own flyer jack fairbrother came on with 15 to go and his pace and industry created a few problems for the away defence, overall I think a draw would have been a fair result but last night summed up Camelfords season  On another more serious note I hope the callington spectator who was unwell and an ambulance called is ok today
