Preview From Mill Marsh Park: Bovey Tracey vs Falmouth Town

Recommended Posts

THE FINAL GAME of the Premier Division rests with two sides currently occupied in the bottom 5 for most of the season.

Falmouth Town travel to Devon once again after defeating Bovey Tracey neighbours Liverton United on Bank Holiday Monday.

The weather cancelled the game almost a month ago so both teams will be happy to get the final game out the way. With no major League position or trophy to play for, Bovey do have the plan of entering next season's FA Cup. To do that they need at least a point to confirm their application.

Falmouth Town meanwhile will be happy to end the season with a win and secure another run of two wins in a row, their last coming between the end of March and into April.

Bovey Tracey Manager Ryan German had several players missing in their 2-2 with St Blazey and 2-0 defeat at Saltash United. For most of this year The Moorlanders have given away the chance of securing three points by switching off and allowing teams back in.

The latest coming at St Blazey on a week ago. Bovey were 2-0 up and in the second half Blazey hi back to secure a draw right at the death. It seems to be a case of Bovey playing well one half and the opposition playing the better the opposite half. German is hoping that his players focus for the whole game and hopes for all three points.
