Game finish 2-2 two screamers from chris Allen and stu bell put us 2-0 Bodmin pulled one back before the break then equalised in second half and were probably the better team in second half. But went to pen and st Dennis won 3-1 I think, thanks to big BIlly D what a legend, love you mate! Sorry stu for spraying beer all over u in the club! Well done lads!

A game played in wet weather but good spirits, western started brighter, wendron looking nervous at the back which isn't normal with newbs, robin watt and mad dog normally very composed.we took the lead mid way in to the half newbs heading home a robin free kick, western came back at us probably deserving an equaliser but we were dangerous on the break with Andy stivey and papa Harris linking well up top. Ht 1-0. Western came out the blocks quickly and a host of needless free kicks around our box put us under pressure unfortunately for them they never really got a decent shot away and on about 70 mins we got number 2 good link up play between blatchy and lee Norman set up Nigel brabyn to shoot, keeper saved but papa was on hand to tap in the rebound.western pushed forward again without really creating clear cut chances and on about 85 we got number three on the break blatchy bursting through and his drilled cross was turned in by stivey. So a trophy in only our 7th game together and wendron's first ever vets cup win, thanks to western and st Dennis for a good day.

Billy Davies is the best keeper I've ever seen, at any level. The guy is 44. I think but anyway did a job for us (St D 1st) and was amazing. Great keeper and a great guy, well done St D vets

Got to agree Lee, had the pleasure of being in a Mullion team many years ago when Billy played for us. What a keeper, ability and would scare the life out of most forwards.
