Dave Deacon
Time is of the essence and it would appear Truro City supporters are keen to make the most of the last minute lifeline they were given on Friday. A meeting has been called for Monday evening which will be chaired jointly between Colin Carter, Will Jones and Tom Osborne. It is scheduled for 7.30pm Monday evening at the clubhouse. It's an open meeting, where they will be electing board members, then allocating roles. The bond payers Messrs Masters, Masters and Perryman will be there. Discussions will centre around what has been done so far, and where the club is going in the future. The meeting will obviously help future plans be more public (a criticism of the recent past), and everyone will be aboe to have their say. The next intention will be a business plan and marketing plan. Also, it must be made clear that the "bond payers", who stepped in at the very last moment have no link at all to Kevin Heaney. Will Jones will also be on the Non League show on radio sometime this weekend. The ethos being - "Got to go as public as poss!"

And would this be regarded as an opportunity to attempt to start rebuilding from within?

Nemesis
Somewhere hidden within the text above is a warning that the meeting may be infiltrated, I'd also suggest that CCTV cameras and sound systems should be flicked to the OFF position before anyone says anything. Perhaps holding a meeting at the club itself is unwise, you never know who may be watching, taking notes or even pictures of attendees for use at a later date by persons who may have an interest in such matters.
