MOUNTAINEER
From reports it would appear to have been a good game, Truro City are still punching above their weight, they deserve credit for being in the top half of the table occupying 9th position. The task confronting the team gets harder week by week because of the transfer embargo, Truro City are struggling with injuries and suspensions only able to use players lacking 100% fitness in an emergency substitution situation from those on the bench. Whilst this goes on their opponents are active in the transfer market, even bottom of the table Thurrock signed an ex England 'C' international in their bid for survival this week. All credit to the lads for giving value for money even though results are still going against us at home.
Dave Deacon
Funny enough when I suggested to Jake Ash yesterday that some fresh faces brought into the squad would have been handy, he didn't really feel too fussed about it. Rightly so I suppose, he has faith in the present squad, but also pointed out that getting new players wouldn't be too easy anyway, once again due to the geography. Nemesis
Nothing to do with a lack of funds and impending demise of the club then ?
