Pablo
Think that should read Maidenhead United. I believe Maidenhead United are one of the very few teams who have competed in the FA Cup since it's inception. Give them some respect, Big G. Mike Odgers
Maidenhead United(Berkshire) formed in 1870 were one of 15 entrants for the first ever F.A.Challenge Cup competition in 1871-72 Season. They moved to their York Road ground in 1871 playing for the first time against Marlow 16th.February 1871.and have remained there eversince This has been acknowledged by the F.A. as the oldest continually used ground in World Football. Marlow F.C.(Buckinghamshire)hold the record having appeared in every season of the F.A.Cup bar one. In 1910 their Application arrived one day late at the F.A. The oldest recognised ground still in use is Sandygate Road-Hallam in Yorkshire first played on in 1860. The oldest club in World Football is Sheffield F.C. 1857 Its looking a tall order for Truro City or any other Cornish side to reach the F A Cup 1st.Round Proper when you consider the Conference Premier clubs have yet to enter.
