Mike Odgers
Salisbury City who finished in 12th position in the National Conference Premier League last season(It would have been 5th.but had -10 points deducted for going into administration) were demoted from the whole of the Conference league. Their appeal failed at the F.A yesterday(£250 forfeited plus £400 costs) and will now bw forced to lineup with Truro in the Southern League Premier for the coming season. This means Truro miss out on comparative local games with Weston S.M who are now reprieved from relegation and stay in the Conference South. Another club from the S.L. Premier is Merthyr Tydfill who have folded but have reformed as Merthyr Town and will play at out of Town, Taffs Well. The new club have been accepted into the Western League but a decision to which division awaits a ground grading Will Salisbury be a major force in a league two levels lower leaving Truro to aim for the play offs in their anxious bid to climb the Pyrimid? Soccer Follower
Will Salisbury be a major force in a league two levels lower leaving Truro to aim for the play offs in their anxious bid to climb the Pyrimid? I suspect that this depend upon the club's finances Mike and how many of last season's players move on and who they can attract to replace them
