Mike Odgers
Falmouth Town will entertain Willand Rovers of the Western League Premier in the Preliminary round of the F A Cup on Saturday August 29th. In tonights replay it ended at The Tannery, Street F.C. 0 Willand Rovers 1. Att.97 Previous encounters with Willand were in the F A Vase when Town won 3-0 at Silver Street in 1999-00 and the following season 4-1 at Bickland Park. So there is no chance of Town reversing theat 6-2 drubbing at Street last season. Willand have only competed in the F.A.Cup since 2002-03 with their best season 06-07 when they reached the 2nd.Q.Rd.(losing 1-3 at Southern league ClevedonTown). Falmouth, are vastly more seasoned in the F A Cup,when first competed in 1962 and have played 115 ties and as everyone knows have reached the 1st.Round Proper on 3 occasions. Mike Odgers
The winning goal for Willand came late in the game from a free kick from George Rogers and notable up front was former Exeter City and then Truro City striker Dean Stamp. Tom Smith take note!

Mike Odgers
First League victory for Willand Rovers today 2-0 at Home to Bristol Manor Farm after two 0-1 defeats(At Street and Home to Ilfracombe) On Tuesday night they play at Bideford-I wonder if Alan and his managerial team will have a look? Likewise the Devon club could be at Priory Park Bodmin on Wednesday for a spying mission on Town.
