Who are favourites to become Combo Champions?

As the new season approaches and in the interests of balance, I thought I would start a poll on who members think will be favourites to win the Combo league this year and why.

That's a very good shout Cloughy although i think that Penryn will be a top 6 side.

Dont think you could say with any guarantee this season, think 4 or 5 teams could win it ^_^

Gonna be a tough season i feel the combination league will be the best this season that it has been for years......

aint seen a combo team thats better than last year yet... b interesting 2 c if ne1 can run away with it ..

Its nice that this year, there isn't any obvious favourite - I would go for Illogan, as long as they have retained last years squad, but for sure I think it will go all the way

for me the evening games are the key for clubs like troon ,because u dont want to go to teams who have swl sides ,on mid week ie penzance penryn falmouth etc ,i still think perranwell are my favourites with winnos st day and illogan pushing them hard ,i also think perran illogan st day will finish well away from the chaseing pack :drink:

Couldn't agree more Matt - I know Illogan played us last year at Port, we had 3 in from 1st team and turned them over - we may have anyway, but there is no doubt Darren Burchell, Josh Kemp, and Kev Lawrence helped!!. Then, on the reverse, we had to donate players to the 1st team on Saturdays which obviously doesn't help.

Combo will be good this season. Cant see any team running away with it, but can see a lot more 'shock' results!!! :wacko:

Just cant see Perranwell winning it, lost too many QUALITY players S.Brewer, J.Harvey and S.Kinge alot of goals there to replace and are the Holmans players of last season able to do aswell as that trio, personally i dont think so For me Illogan or St Day

For me i have to say Illogan will be champs this season. Cnt see Perranwell winning when all they've brought in is half a team that finish mid table every season.
