Guest mario
Heard today that Jeff Batams has joined Tavistock FC as new assistant manager! Good addition to the team, great player in his day and done well at calington as manager. Looks like tavi are moving in the right direction and could well be challenging for honours next year if become more consistant!
Dave Deacon
Could be speculation at the moment! <_<

Adlestrop
It is a racing certainty that Mr.Battams will be crossing the Tamar to be involved in management next season.
pete dillon
Shame if that is true - enjoyed Geoff and Martin Hodge in management tandem at Dobwalls this season they were both entertaining in their different ways and also very effective as a seventh place position on NO budget confirms and if it were not for a bad spell during March & April when loss of form and key players saw a barren spell which thankfully was brought to an end with three good results to conclude the season with a double over Porthleven 4-1 and 5-2 and a 3-1 success at Godolphin would have done even better The highlight of the season was taking eventual winners and Champions Bodmin to extra time and a narrow penalty shootout defeat in the Throgmorton Cup last October..... The Gooner
Well said Pete. If the rumours are true it would be sad but I am sure that Martin Hodge and the committee would conjour up a replacement from somewhere? Well done to the lads and management team at Dobwalls for a credible finish to the season, 7th place not bad when you consider the quality of the majority of the teams in the league and without a budget.
