  1. Reads as if everyone was at Bude vs Liskeard, I however was At Penzance vs Bodmin. I’ll keep it short at sweet, pasty was fantastic! - Bodmin however……..far far from it and possibly worse than when I saw them earlier on in the season. Every calling for Dane Bunney, he’s signed a few 37 year olds from Plymouth and a bunch of kids from Bodmin who unfortunately aren’t even duchy standard.
  2. On the last sentence, conveniently they threw out each and every player and coach that was involved in the covid breach and took a “hard stance” but allowed them all back this year!!!!! And paying for the privilege before they all off load again.
  3. The facts are that he wanted to move on the older players but Phil disagreed and that ended in a heated argument and agreeing to leave. Obviously more out of the loop than your son.
  4. Can confirm, Ryan Fice has been sacked from his post as St Blazey Manager this morning. After a bust up with Phill Lafferty.
  5. Must admit…since Hayden has departed for Bodmin Shaun, Ryan and James at Callington have really made the difference club on the up that’s for sure
  6. How can you say - " I felt it was evenly balanced game" you was beaten 6-0!! God knows what the score line would have been if it wasn't an "even" affair.
  7. Perfect example, 3 people in work this week "Wouldn't mind catching, or saying I've got COVID for an extra 10 days off around Christmas."
  8. Very interesting take. Ready to be shot down, by those that love COVID. Unfortunately teams, both professionally and amateur use COVID as an excuse. In the instance, that for example; in the Championship the difference between promotion to the premier league, and just missing out is £100 million. Owners and managers, know that if 2-3 of there core squad are out with "Mild" COVID/Flu they can call the game off and have it replayed under "keeping everyone safe", without out it effecting their league position or there potential financial implications for fielding a weaker side and dropping down the league.

No one said don't post, no on said what you post isn't useful or valid. I just said I found it hard to read! 👍

    Goal scorer

Just as you have the right to your opinion that what I write is crap, I am allowed to mention how hard it is to read yours. Never did I say it was a load of crap, just hard to read. Definitely no need to get your knickers in a twist, or throw your dummy out.

    Goal scorer

Think this was the hardest paragraph I have ever read in my life.
  17. Think another case study is Mount Gould. How many players do they have signed on from SWPL and higher teams for when they don't have games...
  18. No In depth report today, but Lanson vs Blazey was good value for money Friday night. Particular mention to Todd who came on as a late second half sub after a period of time on the side lines as per people in the stand mentioned how good he previously was at Ivybridge. Saturday, I took in Dobwalls vs Newquay which wasn't as entertaining. Management at Dobwall and the committee should be disappointed with the language towards the official. However, it was well managed by the man in the middle. Lastly! Fantastic to hear the Wendron backroom team swiftly helping the official who fell ill. Wish him a speedy recovery. Liskeard Saturday anyone?😏
  19. Interesting read this morning, some are far to attached to what people say on here! Thought it was an excellent game, well worth the entrance fee and seeing those young fans creating an atmosphere was fantastic. Thought Blazey started really well, with that long high flighted ball into the big man up front and for the first 20-25 minutes they had plenty of joy, finding themselves 1-0 after a set piece resulted in the front man arriving at the back post to head home. After that, I must admit Callington seemed to find their groove and looking to get the ball forward as quickly as possible. Jason Chapman who was MOM for me, pulled of a two fantastic saves in the first half firstly from Jack Alexander 1v1 and then from Luke Cloke who thought his header was finding the far corner before Chappy got a finger tip to it. Half time (Tea was excellent, kit kat even better. Company shocking, Blazey old guard my word! miserable old pensioners springs to mind.) Second half was a one was affair with Martin Giles & Jason Champman staring again. Callington eventually found the leveler after a period of extreme pressure, when a pull back found Gino Garside with 10 yards in front of him 25 yards from goal to curl the ball into the top right hand corner with Chappy clawing at thin air. The next 15-20 minutes was Callington really turning the screw with Chappy again saving from Luke Cloke 1v1 (Albeit it a heavy challenge on the keeper after left him with a dead leg.) Chappy again turned hero when a well struck volley on the edge of the box took a deflection on the way through wrong footing the experience stopper but he still managed to get finger tips to it to claw it off the line. The last 5 minutes, resulted in a flurry of corners one which Chappy again flicked onto his cross bar. Overall fantastic game, thought the referee was good! would liked to have seen him let play go a little more as was very stop start for portions. Laferty will defitnley be over the moon with his keeper. Enjoyed the old school way that Blazey set up and play, I'll be making my way down to watch them play Lanson on Friday night! 😃
