Referee
WHAT A JOKE Why's that? Perhaps he has inspected the pitch and personally felt , under his expert and unique opinion, that the pitch is perfectly playable ?? or perhaps he sees the funny side ? sideline
So I take it that there was standing water on the pitch?? Or was it a little soft on top and they didn't want to ruin it for the first team
MattP
Either way,it's off and we'll reschedule it. Would think Saltash have more pressing concerns at the moment anyway.
OldFan
You're correct sideline. Games getting called of like this is getting a little embarrassing. All pitches should be inspected by a ref, that goes for ECPL & SWPL. I must of missed the downpours today & I was only across in Liskeard
Referee
So I take it that there was standing water on the pitch?? Or was it a little soft on top and they didn't want to ruin it for the first team Earlier you posted your opinion that the decision to call this game off was a JOKE. If you have no idea if there was or wasn't standing water on the pitch and you have no idea if the pitch was soft or not, I cannot fathom upon which you make your opinionated attempt at ridicule. Guest
I don't think some people get it. When you have a frozen pitch and it defrosts it is just as if it had been raining heavily. If you then get rain on it the pitch can easily become a bog.
