Mandy K Aggiemaid Posted March 9, 2009 Report Share Posted March 9, 2009 On Sunday 29th March at 2.30pm Enys Parc St Agnes will host a charity football match in memory of Ian Butcher (Greg and Andy's Dad) who passed away in August last year. The teams will be made up of a St Agnes AFC League winning team involving Greg and a select 11 involving Andy. Ian spent many years supporting St Agnes AFC whilst both the boys played youth and senior football for the club and we plan to have a good match organized in his memory. Team selections will be announced soon - there will be a collection, raffle and auction with all proceeds being divided between Cancer Research UK and the British Heart Foundation. Please come along and support the boys and their chosen causes! Brendon McGovern has been tracked down but is in India at present! A game of huge entertainment - mixed with some aged pride is predicted - two full line-ups will be posted by the end of the week!
