Dave Deacon Posted January 5, 2009 Report Share Posted January 5, 2009 Tomorrow night's Throgmorton Cup 3rd round tie at Bodieve Park between Wadebridge Town and Saltash United has been postponed due to a frozen pitch. New Forest Posted January 5, 2009 Report Share Posted January 5, 2009 Dave I was at Bodieve Park earlier tonight & the pitch is frozen solid down through the middle. The reading in my car indicated the outside temperature at minus 4 when I left at 9.20ish. Weather forecast is for more of the same tomorrow. The pitch would be very dangerous to play on in its current state. I think this is the third time the game has been postponed due to the weather and as you rightly note we try again next Tuesday night. Lets hope for better luck next week.
