Obviously we 'Parkway' are new to the ECL and wouldnt have been aware of this!!

Dave Deacon
Yeah that's generally the idea behind it - a cup competition for the losing First Round teams with at least one more game for everyone, and of course, who knows, silverware at the end of it! Silverware would be nice!!!Good luck to Bodmin though who knocked us out in the first round!!I hope they go on to win it!!
Dave Deacon
You must have felt a little unlucky to have drawn Bodmin in the First Round - one of the Premier Division's form teams so far. How's the standard in the ECL compared to last season?
foz06
You must have felt a little unlucky to have drawn Bodmin in the First Round - one of the Premier Division's form teams so far. How's the standard in the ECL compared to last season? Yeah it was a bit unfortunate to get drawn against them, but to be honest if you want to win a cup you have to beat the bigger teams along the way!!On that day we were the better team for 70mins, and felt unlucky to lose, but the game is 90mins long as you know, but it was a good learning curve for us, and will stand us in good stead for next season when hopefully we will be in the Premier Division!! I have to say the standard with regards to the teams we have played so has been good!!Much better than the P&D Premier. Like any league some teams are good, some are not so good!!We have been delighted with the facilities of the teams we have visited so far, and more so than anything, and all my team mates would agree with me, its actually good to turn up and be able to play football rather than being kicked off the park!!!Which is what we used to experience more often than not last season!!! Julian Chenery
St Stephens Borough can confirm that our match with Padstow will kick off at 2.30pm not the usual 2.00pm as there are floodlights at Saltmill.

Guest
The Borough did not receive a bye. They have been awarded the tie due to the demise of Padstow United. If you like they are classed as winners.
