Coopsie
Mining League Div 3 Gulval Res 7 - 1 Madron Res Scorers were richard james (6) and stuie cooper Well done guys, how did the game go Coopsie? Hey thanks for the kind words Gorgie mate. The game went ok to be fair, the lads tried at every opportunity to play football the way it should be played and did everything pretty much as a unit. I managed to win the toss and made my favourite decision of playing against the elements in the first half and it paid dividends as we took the lead after around 10 minutes and by half time it was 3-0. The boys kept themselves focused during the second half and popped in another 3 goals before the final whistle. The game was played in VERY good spirits and in my opinion was wonderfully officiated. I only wish I knew the name of the referee because the guy deserves some praise for allowing the game to flow with some great advantage play for both teams and constant communication with the players. A credit to officials who at the moment seem to be taking a fair bit of un-necessary flack.
